Sydney Driscoll Neuroscience Award

In 1994, the SDNF Trustees decided to encourage education and research in the Department of Neurosciences by offering an annual award to a trainee or student in the Neurosciences of approximately £1000 for an original paper, either clinical or research based on a Neuroscience topic. The recipient of the monetary Award was encouraged to use the funds to visit a Centre of Excellence in the UK or abroad to expand their knowledge of expertise in relation to their career. The Award was made only if the material submitted achieved the expected standard.
